Mexico

A collection of images displaying the culture of this country, including the landscape, the people, and  sacred sites.

These images include Dia de los Muertos events.. A celebration spanning a few days in early November where the dead are honored and celebrated, specifically in Latin American countries and Hispanic communities around the world.

The Catrina face seen in many images represents the interconnected nature of life and death. Honoring the fact that death is a natural part of the human experience, rather than something to fear. It symbolizes equality, as a skeleton shows that beneath all wealth and status, everyone is the same.
