Patricia Vonne always had a love & deep respect for animation especially Walt Disney, Bugs Bunny & Pepe le Pew. At family get togethers drawing is one of the favorite family activities, also card games & playing music. Patricia says, "Drawing & painting stimulates my imagination, it feels childlike yet very grounding & allows me to be daring, inventive & creative. I'm a hopeless romantic & I love Ballet & Flamenco."  Inspired by Rosie Flores' beautiful art & how happy she seemed with every brush stroke, Patricia started painting flamenco dancers.

In 2014, Patricia shot & edited her first stop-motion photography animation, created for her song, co-written & co- illustrated with friend and fellow musician, Michael Martin, called "El Marinero y La Sirena" ( The Sailor and the Mermaid.) This won the Audience Award at Cine Las Americas Film Fest 2015 & was screened at SXSW 2015.   Patricia is currently working on her 2nd animation, being created for a song that won 1st place in the jazz category for the John Lennon Songwriting contest,  "Paris Trance" .

Patricia says, " For anyone who thinks they can only draw stick people, well, that was me, too!  Until I started            drawing just for fun with my nieces & nephews. They helped me connect with my inner child                          and now it's a full blown passion!"

Elvis by Rosie Flores

Rosie's interest in art began while growing up in San Diego. When in high school, one of her pieces was exhibited in the Balboa Park Museum of Art! Though Rosie studied art in college and maintains a passion for it, she detoured to creating music. Hence, art became an outlet from the pressures of the music business, touring, recording, etc.   Rosie says, “Painting puts me into my happy place! Often, my spare time is spent with paint brushes and acrylics.”
In 2013, Rosie received an outstanding response to two pieces exhibited at Houston’s Art Car Gallery. The past three Holiday seasons, she created 80 Holiday cards, each with a unique design. Recently, while in Sweden, she created 200 CD jackets featuring her unique art, each signed and numbered. Rosie says, “I’ve found that art fuels my music, and music feeds my art!”
* >* Look for Rosie's book of biographical short stories about life as a woman on the road, featuring her photography, titled Wacky Truck Stop Candy and Road Stories, coming soon!
