Sadly, Giulia is very ill and will be unable to perform Sunday, September 28.  However, the Jackson Ranch gates will be open for those who wish to stop in and jam, 3 – 6 pm!  We apologize with all our hearts for any inconvenience this may cause you! But hope to see you in October , the 19th, the new date for Giulia's concert!  We are sending Giulia prayers for rapid healing! <3

A child of Florence, Italy, Giulia started to play the guitar and sing traditional folk songs at a tender age.  Her search for a personal form of expression over the years, distinguished her first recorded work, Giulia and The Dizzyness,  released in May of 2008, (Cavern Jatt Records). The album has Anglo-Saxon roots and mixes folk-acoustic tradition with new sounds. She toured with this CD throughout Italy and England, then to New York City, where she performed at many popular venues, including Arlene’s Grocery, Goodbye Blue Monday, and the Nightingale Lounge.

May of 2010 at the Acoustic Guitar Festival in Sarzana, Giulia won the Carisch "New Sounds of Acoustic Music" Award!  Then released her second CD, Dropping Down, (Ugly Cat Music/ Audioglobe), a multivalent musical performance, showing her skills in every aspect of production.  Except for the song, Paranoid, by Black Sabbath, the album is entirely written, arranged, and produced by Giulia!

After touring Italy, Holland, Germany, Switzerland and the US with the new CD,  Giulia moved to Austin, Texas, the "live music capital of the world". Here, filled with new energy and influences, Giulia decided to "give birth" to her latest album: Dust and Desire
